The best of Plantronics

Challenge

The challenge was how to design a premium customer journey for Plantronics that stood out yet blended in with a premium hi-end retail environment. Arnotts (part of Selfridges family) relaunched their prestigious Dublin store during 2017 and it was vital for our display to fit seamlessly into this new environment.

Solution

Our innovative team created a 1200 x 800 play table with a stylish veneered finish that felt at home in this impressive store.

The branded end-cap was produced in a clean white finish that reflected the Plantronics brand. A large portrait digital screen was integrated into the end-cap to help attract shoppers to the fixture and introduced a range of quality gaming, sports, stereo and mono Bluetooth products.

Each sub-category was represented by a live product which could be listened to by connecting it to a customer’s mobile phone. The live product was supported by a digital product advert on the end-cap.

The full range of colours and product options were displayed securely in an illuminated glass cabinet below. The wow factor was instant.

Plantronics

For over 50 years, Plantronics has been on the forefront of audio innovation; always driven by a single obsession: to remove the barriers to simple, clear communication.

It all began in a garage in 1961 when two airline pilots set out to invent an alternative to the conventional headsets of commercial aviation. The product Courtney Graham and Keith Larkin created in that tiny garage in Santa Cruz, California was more than just the world’s first lightweight headset. It was the birth of a company called Plantronics, and the first of a half-century of breakthroughs in communications.

Plantronics made history when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and uttered those legendary words: through a Plantronics headset.
