A smart way of selling rope by the meter

Challenge

The challenge was to how to help the customer choose the right rope product, self-select and self-serve from Marlow’s extensive and comprehensive range.

As each store has an entirely different format, we had to create a display that provided the flexibility based on space available and store turnover.

Solution

Our team worked closely with Brandwave Marketing, the specialist sports agency to create a modular fixture that met the visual brief.

We created 1 meter segments that could be built in modular segments that allowed graphics to be easily changed and updated to accommodate Marlow’s sister brand.

Each header offered category navigation, allowing the customer to select their boat or sport type. Each product card holder featured a horizontal cross bar that doubled-up as a ruler, allowing customers to measure the meterage required and then cut to length with one of the hot wire guns featured on the display.
